Travel Tips

  • Although a Passport is not mandatory for cruises that depart and return to a US port, it is ALWAYS wise to have a PASSPORT. if you should miss your ship or be in a situation that would require you to overnight in an international location, you would not be able to return to the US without your passport. The process could end up costly and time consuming…To be on the safe side GET your PASSPORT BOOK before you travel.
  • Always tell your travel agent if you have a special request. The requests are a priority and will be reviewed. What’s more, when requests are made by travel agents they are given higher priority than requests made by passengers/customers.
  • When you go on a cruise, always pack a change of clothes in your carry-on luggage. The luggage that you hand to the porters at the cruise pier can take up to four hours to reach your cabin.
  • Carry a surge protector with you. Most cruise cabins or hotel rooms have limited outlets. This will allow you and your family to charge your batteries to your electronics at once.  Also having it at the airport will come in handy when you all need to recharge your electronics before heading to your next destination.
  • Men remember at most resorts and on cruise ships you must wear pants and collared shirts to dinner. Make sure you pack a few polo shirts and khaki pants or else you may not be able to enjoy the restaurants at night.
